Western Hills Day School/ MDO is committed to the growth, enrichment, and academic excellence of every child. We believe
in engaging children in challenging academic exploration. At no time in a child's development is instilling strong moral
and ethical values more important than during these formative years.
Our Mission
This school is a nonprofit coorporation sponsored by Western Hills United Methodist Church. The Day School is primarily
a community service which provides personal character, self-esteem, leadership, self-discipline, respect for others, and community
involvement.
The private school advantage grows with every year of school. Studies have shown that children
who attend private schools are more likely to attend college or pursue a Master's degree. Private school students
are less likely to experience violence, drug or alcohol abuse, racism, or bullying. Gang related incidents are almost
never seen in private schools.
